how do you get more mana

I have run out. Is that will that I seem to get on kills and other sources.

Google tells me there's equipment and other misc things that help with mana...but far as I can tell there's no actual upgrade to the flask to get some MP restored as well.

I guess I use my abilities to much. Immobilize is especially handy.

You collect pills which expand the capacity. it's primarily restored at the shrines, which thankfully are abundant throughout the game. Combat might restore a little but not enough to be relevant in a boss fight at least.

Disappointing tbh...was hoping there'd be an upgrade to the flask to restore a little at least. In a game that's seemingly promoting so much magic...you're heavily limited as it stands.
