Well, techniquely wukong do not have a definite gender. At the end of the Journey to West, Wukong become a Buddha, and Buddha, only having 法身(the spiritual body) does not have a gender. Wukong can be male or female, or any gender depending on how you view Wukong, but Buddha does not have gender, so this question does not even exist.
