We can only speculate but if its a soulsborne then probably no .

It's souls-like and souls-like games are set to their own difficulty without being able to change it later, if the game has difficulty settings then the game doesn't really deserve to be called souls-like imo, so I don't think there will be a difficulty setting.

Also, if you like challenge then you would have no problem with higher difficulty, otherwise you are lying to yourself.

I experienced it in Köln last year. The difficulty level feels lower than Sekiro and the gameplay is flexible. I hope it helps you.:steamhappy:

I dont enjoy souls like game...to difficult for me,
there are some souls like game with difficulty option like REMNANT 2.

Difficulty settings are stupid, it's much better to have items in-game that can scale the difficulty, so that it feels rewarding

they had said a difficulty slider will be available. people who want more souls-like feeling, play on the hardest

There is a determination of dynamic difficulty.
When defeating some enemies in too short a short time, we will meet them in the second phase.
This caters to both the less difficult players and the more challenging ones.:steamhappy:

where did you find this?

In the offline trial videos, many videos have detailed explanations.

the boss is Macaque Chief (赤尻马猴)

I hope not.

I know there's mixed opinions about this, but for me, difficulty settings ruins the game. The game should be played in the dificulty level determined by the devs.

For me, the smartest way to change the difficulty is within the game itself (not before you start playing). A good example is when you are "dying" a lot to a boss, the game identifies this and can trigger something that helps the player, like an NPC that can appear to help, etc. I liked a user's tip that if a player is being very skilled when facing a boss, this boss triggers a more difficult phase 2. There are countless ways, but the game must reward the more skilled players.

The best way to change difficulty level for me is the one used in Elden Ring, where if you explore and complete all the optional dungeons in your way, you acquire many items (better weapons/armor and estus flasks for ex) and levels, which ends up making the main path very easy. Otherwise, if you only follow the main path, the game can become very hard.

The devs themselves have literally said it's not a Souls game

It's technically not a souls-like (depending on how you qualify souls-like), think Bayonetta, God of War & no, there is no difficulty setting.

Reviews range from "too easy" to "Certain fights harder than Elden Ring"..... We shall have to see.
