Anyone who says this wouldn’t be an East Asian person because their cultural knowledge is quite limited. Japanese people know that ‘Journey to the West’ is one of China’s most famous classical novels. Man,before defining something, it’s essential to learn about it rather than keeping your brain frozen in the refrigerator.

You need to know one thing: the vast majority of East Asian myths originate from ancient Chinese mythology or have been influenced by China.
Of course, I am not saying that they are all plagiarism, after all, ancient myths across Europe also have similarities. But you need to understand that as the largest suzerain country in East Asia since ancient times, China has a great influence on the surrounding areas. The Japanese games you are currently playing have many Chinese elements, including but not limited to architecture, weapons, music, and even some traditional elements.
China🤬!!!!

Buddhism is indeed from India, in fact the book itself was about going to India to bring the scriptures back to China. But the thing is, both Buddhism and Daoism are featured in the book, with a lot of Chinese local folklore elements,...
Yeah but you cant deny the facts most features and abilities from Sun wukong was inspired by Hanuman from Ramayana. Manuscripts and depictions for Hanuman predates Buddhism/Taoism and fictional Wukong by Millennia..
You cant deny facts and historical evidences XD.
Yeah, except your words are not "facts" nor "historical evidences", especially the parts you claimed "Hanuman predates 10000BC", "Sun wukong is from Hinduism and Buddhism", "Taoism comes from Hinduism"...etc. I'm not sure what drugs do you take to cause such ludicrous delusions, but anyone who can do some research on internet can easily find out your claims are absolutely bollocks, no better than OP. You once suggest "google is your buddy", maybe you should learn to use it first.

Hanuman definitely doesn't predate 10000BC, far from it, and Taoism/Daoism does not come from Hinduism, far from it. Daoism religion (道教) is mainly evolved from "Philosophical Daoism"(道家哲學) and Chinese folk religions. And most of all, Sun WuKong is not from Hinduism and Buddhism, merely borrowed some inspirations from them. Sun WuKong(孫悟空) is Chinese monkey god from a Ming dynasty Chinese novel, this character draws many different sources as inspirations. not merely one root, even his name "孫悟空" is a Chinese name which is inspired by a real Chinese monk "釋悟空" in Tang dynasty(8th century AD), and China has our own monkey gods beliefs such as 福建大聖信仰 and 楚地猿神崇拜 which belong to Daoism / Chinese folk religions and predate this novel for millenniums, almost as old as Hanuman, One of Sun Wukong's main title "齊天大聖"(The Great Sage, Heaven's Equal) is derived from 大聖信仰 which is Not Buddhism nor Hinduism. Hinduism scriptures that contain Hanuman story were not even translated in Ming dynasty, so it's really far-fetched to claim he's influenced by Hinduism, his foreign inspirations are still mainly from Buddhism.

I saw your other comments said you like or respect Chinese culture, maybe you actually do, but it doesn't show up here.
JP Folklore,HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Seriously ?Seems you congused Wukong in Journey to the West and Goku in Dragon Ball. Lol. And actually, the name Goku comes from Wukong.

But I remembered that Japan does not have any monkey business.
JP do have one famous monkey, I suppose? There's a monkey in Momotaro's animal friends. But that was not Wukong at all. They only thing in JP related to Wukong might be Dragon ball there is a Goku, whose name comes from Wukong, lol.
