There is a game called Grounded where you fight spiders as main enemies and you can use accessibility options to remove them....

The spiders are very important characters in Journal to the West, so they are bound to show up. I think It's hard to design accessibility options like Grounded for this game, maybe you can ask your friends to defeat these spiders .

Although according to the original the spider monster is one of the main enemy, it doesn't mean there will be spiders everywhere in the game. I think most probably there will be a cave or a mountain full of spiders but that's all.
PS: i think it will be the cave, because there is a cave full of spiders in the original myth
