We want to sincerely apologize for the long silence. Over the past years, we’ve heard your frustrations loud and clear, and we fully understand the disappointment it caused. Western Rye is a project we care deeply about, and while we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, we should have done a better job keeping you in the loop.

This game should be removed from Steam Store!

Anyone following should remove this game from their wishlist! I just checked it - this game seems completely dead / abandoned: 1. There's nothing posted about for this game at all - no news nor updates whatsoever; 2. I also cannot even see any single post by developers across forums, neither! It is sitting already for like 1,5 years already with no single update - first posts seems dated back to mid-2023, which is like 1,5 years passed already! I now just put this game on my ignore list!...

Many of us do not have the time to browse through Discussions or go to your web site or other locations. If you do not post updates directly on the Steam game page every two months or so we believe you have abandoned the game. Do so, or we will lose interest,...

Character creation?

Can we play our own character in this survival game or are we all forced to play the generic white guy? Hoping there is something here aside the forced generic white hero and then having the bad guys all brown colored.
