Hero bans!

Hero bans are really a must imo now. Characters that are just unfun to play against are making some games miserable and honestly it's such a nice quality of life feature that wouldn't be too out of the norm for this genre of game!

No, hero bans are truly an embarrassing feature for the community and developers. For the community because all those characters considered annoying and against which the average player struggles to win would be banned. While in the case of developers, they can use it as a patch when there are heroes who clearly need a fix. Blizzard has always fixed its heroes, even without waiting for the end of the season, even with total reworks. I haven't seen anything like this yet on MR, from the beta to today.

Imagine those who have a main and are forced to not be able to play it for entire seasons, after perhaps having invested money in it, because it is too annoying for the community. On ow we would never have Sombra again for months and months or Widowmaker, to name two with this feature. Come on...

Yes but in high ranks. Banning in QP would be ridiculous because people wouldn't get to practice or learn a heroe.

Bans in high ranks where a broken or OP heroe can be considered unfair, it is a good tool until a pacht comes out and balances it and I'm for it...

too be fair i think banning champs like ana make the game way more fun and open otherwise u cant play hog/jq and other health tanks cuz u just get countered with one button thats not very hard to land but at the same time i dont think blizzard will do anything but monitize more ow1 content
