Server crash hack
I've had this happen to me two times in a single day. I was in a game with my team about to win the game, until the server bugged out, and the match crashed only for it to be replaced by a completely different map and game mode as if the last game didn't even happen. The most common conclusion I've seen among the other people that were involved is that someone was using a hack to crash the server so that they wouldn't lose the game.

I could be wrong though. What's ACTUALLY going on here?

One of two will happened there
1-blizzard servers are unstable and they cant resist the ammount of info and pixels
2-somebody is ddosing yor server

That server issue is probably something they would have fixed the second it happened, so I think the DDOSing is the most likely candidate
