Why is everyone playing rein??

its actually becoming really annoying to play against because a lot of people in quick play dont know how to play against him apparently, ill have a rein on my team but their rein will just be infinitely better than mine

People play Rein because apparently as you have noted most people don't know how to play against him, therefore he wins games.

Also a lot of people playing Rein because right now he's Optimus Prime.

Aggressive Rein with out a good team backing him up dies bad, though. Aggressive Rein only works if your team knows how to follow you.

bc theres a teamwide speed buff character with no agency on said buff. Rein gets free speed, such a good idea

Also Ram, who makes most Rein games a nightmare, has fallen off a bit and isn't as popular. That's part of the reason.

yeah its actually a no brainer if you play rein into Ram, just don't fight him. Bogur says the same thing about being a WInston main: D.va? don't fight her. Reaper? don't fight him. Bastion? don't fight bastion. Kill everything else, let your team deal with the rest because chances are, dva , reaper and bastion are chasing after you while your team kills them
