No, it's not gonna active anti-cheat. It's not a modification of files.
Lmfao, yea tgey said the same thing about VaC.. which I've tripped multiple times as a tf2 community dev... thankfully valve removes them because I'm a dev
I'm using one of codes to change background menù since march 2023. Did i get a vac? No, then shut up. It's not a modification of files, just some beauty change that doesn't change the game.
Plus, you don't play Overwatch2, because you have zero hour on this game checking your steam profile, so why are you writing here in every single post? Especially on a weustion about Steam game option.
Ever stopped to consider I play directly though battlenet?
Lots of people here do, we hang out on tge steam community discussions because they are reasonably moderated, and don't tolerate bullying like they do on the blizzard forums.
Besides from what I hear, playing though steam just creates new problems, or give up certain benefits. For example, steam users have to wait for blizzard to push the patch though steam and wait for verification... so you gotta wait till patch day then deal with slower downloads because your doing it at the same time as everyone else. Meanwhile directly though bnet, typically we get to pre-download updates. Heck I had the Tuesday update downloaded fully last Saturday..
Upon review of the ToS. Yes its a violation.. so basically your accounts future hinges on if they can detect what ever it is you altered..
Which suddenly all tge "I got banned for cheating and I wasn't cheating" claims now have a possible explanation.. since its explained in the "cheating" section of tge ToS
So even if your not doing anything to cheat, modification or alteration to any files related to the game or launcher, is considered cheating per the ToS (which no one reads)
I'm not interested in your justifications or the reason why you spend your days acting as a moderator for a company that doesn't pay you and doesn't consider you.
This was a topic about steam game configuration. You don't play this game on steam.
