I think that says a lot more about the people you watch or hang out with tbh.
also collecting stuff is important too.
i play semi-regularly for maybe 3-4 weeks at a time then do other stuff for a while
might re-install soon.. although i just got into final fantasy 14 so maybe not
I stopped playing Overwatch 1 in the middle of it's lifespan because of studies, forgot about it, and didn't pick up ow2 until maybe 3 months ago. I'm playing it like a normie, and I just enjoy it like any other game. I ignore the loot and cosmetics because it doesn't change how I play, and I don't follow patch notes unless they're huge game changing ones like bigger bullets. If I don't read the notes, then I honestly never notice whatever changes they say they added.
I keep playing because it's free, it's fun, and despite everything it's still got some cool characters.
The competitive side of it does stress me out, but that's the competition, not the game. On a fundamental level, I have always enjoyed the game, since day one.
this- tf2 was the OG and it's an antique of a game now. The rest of multiplayer are battle royales that get boring very quickly. OW is 8 years old now.
i would pay 300-400 bucks for a tf3 and would gladly uninstall OW if that ever happened.
the game is for laughs- just laugh at the investors who lost every dime buying an OWL team.
they all been fired at first chance.
