Skill ceiling in Overwatch
Watch a video someone who just started playing Spy or Soldier in TF2, then compare it to a guy with 2000h on one of these classes. The difference is gigantic.
Watch a video of someone who just started playing Titanfall, then compare it to a guy who spent even 400h in the game. The difference is insane in movement alone.

Now watch someone who just started playing Overwatch 2 and compare it to a 20 000h Grandmaster Top 100 epic streamer sponsored by Blizzard. Aside from a few characters like Genji or Tracer, the difference is so negligible it's legit to hard to tell them apart.
I'm not saying Overwatch is terrible, it's a good game. I just can't imagine spending thousands of hours with those one note, one narrow playstyle heroes with very low skill ceilings. I've played for 30h and I legit feel like I've experienced everything the game has to offer. It's basically just DOTA in first person, if that makes sense. Not much room for creativity or shenanigans. Does anyone else feel that way?

EDIT: Never forget the time two E-SPORT TEAMS needed 16 ULTIMATES to kill a single person (yes, this is real)

There actually is a huge difference between a bronze player and a top 500 player. You probably don't notice it cause you are low rank (not meaning to offend, there is things that i don't notice as well) From movement, to mechanics, to positioning. Of course there are characters with low skill ceiling like moira, mercy, kiriko, but even with these characters you can notice a notable difference.

There is characters techs that not everyone know like Winston jump + charge right click + melee to do more damage, D.va boost melee, Sombra uncloak before attacking to be faster and a lot more.

Also don't forget, a lot of players play more than one character, because the game incentivises switching, with certain characters being strong into another, or strong on certain maps. So while there are of course people who love certain characters and one trick them, there's plenty of room to explore other playstyles.

That's my point and also that's what Muselk said in one of his videos. Aside from some small tweaks to timing and positioning, there's nowhere else to go in terms of your skills.

If you need 500h in the game yourself to notice a difference between noobs and pros that means the skill ceiling is pretty low.
