Do i have to actually unlock Ramattra before I can unlock liveweaver?

I played the game back when it released and have Kiriko unlocked. I cant seem to progress in the hero challenge thingy for Lifeweaver without going through Ramattra first. Is this a bug or is this normal?

NO, you only need to enable the challenge, Challenges > Heroes and select the hero that you want to unlock, I think this only apply for OW2 heroes and not for OW1

Its a bug, unlock challenges unlock the season after they release, I haven't got Ramattra yet but I can still go for Live weaver


other characters unlock status have no affect on it

Activating challenges is really stupid. Sigh. Anyway seems like Ramattra was activated by default since i already had kiriko from battlepass s1.
