Well this aged well, especially since overwatch 2's player count is just over 10k and tf2's is still over 100k. The and by your own measurement here, theirs still more tf2 players than overwatch 2 now. But you're forgetting that while its still a problem, the bot crisis is on its way out. If overwatch 2 was so much better than tf2 that you could make a whole discussion about it, then why aren't people playing overwatch 2? Rhetorical I have the answer. Overwatch 2 is a blatant tf2 ripoff and they're hardly trying to hide it. Some characters are near 1:1 recreations of tf2 characters, even having similar weapons or abilities. Overwatch 2 even took heavy inspiration for its PvE game mode with what is effectively Mann vs Machine. It even functions the same, except tf2's doesnt lock it behind a ridiculous pay wall. It limits how many people are in the game at a time, and has you fight waves of machines that get progressively harder to handle. Going back to the pay wall thing, new hero's being introduced are also locked behind a paywall so you have to pay like $80 to get everything from a free game, and if they ever add a 10th class to tf2 you'd bet that it would be free like everything else in the game. And finally, all the classes in tf2 feel unique. Sure there's some overlap between them. But each class has something that only they can do and they all have there own strengths and weaknesses. Take that overlap and multiply it by 1000 and you have overwatch 2's overlapping problem. So many of the hero's just feel like the same ones over and over again, and its just boring. It blends all the characters together and means none of them feel special. I played a bunch of overwatch 1, so i'm a bit sad to see where it is now... but overwatch has never had anything on tf2.
1. Most reviews were deserved because ow2 now is just a wallet eater (thank you blizzard)
2. Most reviews were made by veterans ow players
3. I'm correct and ur opinion is irrelevant because I'm talking facts here
4. Blizzard sucks
5. Ow2 is a downgrade of ow
6.blizzard misstreat female employees
7.ow2 is full of weirdos and Reddit mods
8.ur a goofy ahh
9. Ow2 is not a casual game like tf2
10. Ow2 has a smaller player count than tf2
11. Pay 2 win ngl
12. ow2 porn artists work harder than the devs
that last point is hilarious. Oh how I wish it wasnt true. lmao
Dont get me wrong I played and enjoyed overwatch 1, but it's nowhere near tf2 and will never have more people playing it unless tf2 gets yeeted off of steam for some reason
ah i see it was a necro from 2 weeks ago
if you want to play a game that is more fun and complete in all senses, with a ton of features that justified the 2 in the title,Titanfall 2 is that game
nuh uh
Most reviews are from Chinese people how could this even remotely probably be the most true statement? It's an idiotic fanboy can't-accept-that-a-lot-of-people-who-played-Overwatch-hate-it-now statement
No? Then TF2 is objectively better. Try and get better bait next time. ((And yes, everything about Shakespearicles is canon to TF2, I ♥♥♥♥ you not.))
