Hating on this game is an attack on the LGBTQ. Please reconsider your scores.

Overwatch 1 and Overwatch 2 has become a safe haven for members of the LGBTQ community like myself, and it's depressing as all hell to see such a great game get hate campaigned on Steam. It really does strike a nerve in me.

I knew the second that Overwatch 2 got announced on Steam that there would be a hate campaign. I never thought it would be this bad. I can understand this game getting mixed, or mostly positive, but overwhelmingly negative at 8% just hurts.

You people don't realize that this an unprovoked attack on the LGBT community. I understand disliking some of the things that Blizzard did, but it doesn't warrant preventing future LGBTQ allies from joining our community. A lot of people judge a game by its Steam review, and this game will be overlooked by others as not being a game worth playing.

This is straight up gatekeeping the LGBTQ community from gamers and allies. Please reconsider your reviews. I'm asking nicely. :/

Overwatch as a franchise is very pro LGBTQ and a lot of the game's characters are icons for us.

The fact that you think everyone only hates this game because of LGBT politics is very ignorant. Blizzard is a scummy company that kept lying, bait & switching, and failing to deliver the game they've promised since 2019. People hate OW2 because it did not deliver on its promises. The predatory battle passes aren't helping matters either.

Nobody normal thinks about sex in any online shooter. Why would you ever talk about sex in a game where prepubescent adolescents play the game???
