swap regions

is there any way i can play with an na friend if im eu? i remember there being a regions tab on the bnet launcher but i dont think there is on steam or if there is i cant seem to find it

Pretty sure friend wise it's not needed no matter the region although it does swap the group from server to server of each of your respective regions if you forget to change regions.

Though changing region wise I use a vpn or to be exact Mudfish (technically not just a vpn) and chose the exact overwatch server of my choice. With Europe having

Europe (Amsterdam)
Europe (Finland)
Europe (Germany)
Europe (Paris)

as Overwatch servers To choose from.

u cant switch regions using battle net client it will put you in the server according to your ip you can only switch server by using a vpn

Is that for the console version? Since with the PC version there's still an option to switch from American to the Asian server my ping goes from 10 to 120-150 and that's before joining with my friend from Tokyo. Though admittedly I only check the pings for this when I'm in practice and custom mode.

i have a friend that lives in asia and whenever he joins my lobby we play on eu servers, when i join his - we play on asia. dunno if the same should work for na. playing on steam
