High ping on Steam

Title.

I'm getting really high ping in matches on steam. Switch to battle.net, and the ping is back to normal. Anyone else having this issue?

I've noticed my latency being higher in Steam. With Blizzard launcher I usually got 52ms, but with Steam I am getting 70ms - 120ms. Hopefully it is not Steam related issue...

Yeah, I'm getting similar results.

this is something i noticed too when i booted the game; my ping went up a whole 20 this probably needs to be reported OW support or something id suggest doing that if you can

I'm also having the same issue. I usually get around 50ms in battle.net, in steam i get 150.

Maybe it has to do with the game matching you with a different region?

I got the same issue today but in the battlenet launcher

Steam is buggy and full of errors.
BattleNet is better, very light and created to be a good launcher not taking too much RAM doing things in the background like Steam.

third party programs such as hanzo SNAP BOT and an aimbot,wallhack, speed hack will cause high latency in OW2

same im getting 130~220ms when i usually get 50ms

Steam take you to other regions.
