Sombra eats healers up
I don't know why when I play tf2 and I get picked by a spy I feel completely fine, even humbled, but when Sombra rolls up on my Baptiste or Zen I get the worst feeling ever.

Something feels mechanically wrong about the character. Like the damage output, the ability denial, and the escape option are all too good. I jumped back into the game when they introduced her always being invisible, I think that having invis on cool down was the only saving grace because it opened her up to attacks if she used it to early or too late.

Sucks to be a heal bot who can't defend themselves.. especially when you expect others to do it for you..

Sombra doesn't auto win vs a support?

1. Don't get hit by virus
2. Aim better
3. Communicate with your team

Yeah she just doesnt after the Season 9 hp changes. Everyones Hp got up and sombras dmg stayed the same. If you get killed by Sombra as a support just swap to brig. If you stil get killed after that... I mean man, thats kinda on you. I would say be more mindful and think about when she would want to attack. Not getting caught of guard is half the win against sombra.

I hate Sombra more than Mercy, and that's a very high bar to pass.

well if you are playing zen and they have a sombra ask the other healer to be your bodyguard, personally I main Ilari and I always try to guard my ana when I can, if the other healer isn't responsive, you can try staying with them. or switch for moira/brig.
It's a team game after all, the best counterplay against those pesky flankers is good team play.

You know, I have post game clarity now, I get it. She's just designed to do all that. She just picks off people who are unaware or alone. Just doesn't feel good man.

Flank her when she has few teamates near her and neutralize her.

Yes and no..

It's all about adapting to play against her..

The issue most players have is they act like she doesn't exist until its to late for them to react..

Then once they respawn they forget all about her again..

It's all about game sense.. which boils down to your ablity predict and respond to somba..

As with any hero, if your having issues against them, you should log some more time playing them...

Playing and better understanding a hero also helps make you stronger playing against them..
She’s more pesky than pre-nerf dead ringer spy, but I bet if she had like one little tweak she would be better (I’m talking out of past experience here because I haven’t touched ow2 since it launched and I don’t trust blizzard anymore)

why are you hanging around the forum of a game you don't play?

Shoot at hiding places to reveal her. Watch out for her red escape streaks in the air. After a while you learn common hiding spots. Use support chars that are stronger with dps or those that have escape abilities (i.e. Kiriko). Stay close to team, if your team mates are any good they'll also be peeling / watching out for her and help save the person hacked. But don't all huddle together due to her ult. If alone stay close to walls and cover around corners while she empties her clip.

That does not sound like competitive gaming at all. The higher the rank, the less time you have to just waste ammo shooting at empty space while the enemy is diving you. Goofy advise.
