Just curious do I receive a notice if someone I reported gets banned

I have reported a couple of players saying racial slurs or passive playing but I have no idea whether they receive any penalty or not

Sorry, if you didnt get a notification none of them got banned. Reports are useless against this kind of players since the admins encourages this kind of behavior. Last week i filed a raport in this forums against two transphobes with evidence, and the admins banned ME for a week.

oh they'll get banned be assured, it doesn't take much from this sensitive community. iv been suspended for a month for typing prostitute. Also what the hell is passive playing

what are they saying specifically? be sure to use " " and * to not get flagged, I'm sorry this happened to you, i just need first and last letter, context in which it was used, was it directed at you, was it negative in connotation? all of that.

i'm sure someone will look into this for you

i don't work for steam, just kinda curious as to if you've ever been on the internet?

i've had people stalk me and ♥♥♥♥, fake my identity, and ruin my life online, i think if in one game some people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you could just leave that game report them and move on with your life knowing that some people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Trolling might be the right term
