2. Agreed
3. I dont think Blizzard cares about #s as much as revenue. So as long as the whales keep buying everything up every update...I think Bliiz is ok with that.
(10k whales > 40k people who value their money in Blizzard's eye)
Game just would be better if people dont spent it on skins, all of my skins I got is for free back in Overwatch 1. I didn't gamble with the loot boxes or buy any skin, just play.
Not financially supporting blizzard is just ensuring you aren't contributing to the problem, it does nothing to stop those who fall victim to maniuplation and gaslighting tactics blizzard uses to get money out of people..
What people need to be doing is discouraging others from spending money and condemning those who do..
For example, I will throw/troll just because a few randos on my team are using paywalled skins.. I won't say a word in chat. if any of those players rage at me. that's why we have abusive chat reports...
Gamers have been taking the "I Won't support or play that game" approach for well over a decade, and things have only gotten worse In That time.
If you want to see change, you have to do your part to force companies like blizzard to change..
The only way to do that is to hurt the only thing they care about profits..
Blizzards community management is rife with hypocrisy, weaponize it, that what I do..
Heck I can recall a few times game communities have taken a game hostage, to kick a developer in the balls because they deserved it..
You have a lot more power than you realize, you just have to learn how to weild it effectively
quoting 3 words from them:
More Slop Please
2. Constructive criticism: criticize this game by giving it a well detailed negative review, don't review bomb it like a uncivil immature 15 year old. Point out the actual flaws that drags this game down and if possible, share your own opinions on how to fix the game.
-We try to say the problems impling explaining every one in a slow way for the understanding, but blizzard is still using a blind glasses denying the lot of problems there, like the hitboxes the the decadence of the new heroes mauga, illari etc (this can be applied to old ones like briggite), the controversies behind blizzard HQ doors, the prices of the store 1900 for one, but 56 or even 60 dolars for a complete bundle. and many other atrocities.
3. Stop playing the game if possible: Not playing the game will help in convincing both game developers and blizzard's higher ups to act to improve the game. CSGO 2 and many of its updates to the previous title, CSGO, wouldn't be possible without games like PUBG, Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Valorant. These games creates competition and take counter strike players away.
-Most of the blizzard fans have stockholm syndrome, no matter blizz threat us like wallets with legs and dont care about the real issues in the game, they will not left behind the progress (skins, player icons, emotes and the other stuff) and memories too; they can even sell thier soul if their desired FOMO is returning to store no matter it is a free reward from a old challenge or free stuff from overwatch 1
aleast the whales when they offer the job they do instantly and mention the promise to the others but blizz
They annonced overwatch 2 with a full campaign the existence of the number 2 is that history campaign and what happened.
and BTW where the tool system to make content by the community?
HUH
LOL, I'll tell you exactly why there's no community content development tools..
There's 2 reasons ultimately..
#1 Greed.. they arent going to get worthwhile effort from community developers, without offering some form of meaningful compensation to them, especially if they intend to monetize it... people aren't fans of being exploited by corporations ass free labor..
#2 it gives the community better understanding of the games code, which makes it harder for blizzard to get away with scummy things...
In addition, it makes those of us hobbyist developers more powerful, within the game..
Ngl ive done quite a bit of "war profiteering" in source engine games.. sell off a vulnerability to cheat makers, let them become a problem.. the collect the bug bounty for fixing it.
I get paid to create a problem and to fix it
