Does Overwatch 2 run on Windows 7 now?

Does Overwatch 2 run on Windows 7 now?

Last year it did. Today I tried to run it - it crashed when I tried to run it without any messages.

You can! make sure that you have the newest version of windows and see verify integrity of files if you haven't played in a long time

if u can install it then u can play it lol if it crashes just make sure u got the system requirements right (bottom of the OW store page). or just reset ur pc

Nope ever since OW2 was released it won't run on Win 7. Win 10/11 is recommend.

Really?. I had to upgrade from W7 to W10 on 2022 because it gave me some error.

No, Blizzard disabled DirectX 11 support for the game with the most recent patch about a week ago, forcing it to run DX12. Windows 7 doesn't have DX12 so you get that "entry point" error. Up until a week ago it worked great in Windows 7, really disappointing malicious choice by Blizzard to intentionally disable DX11 functionality when that's what the game has been using for 8 years.

Wtf are you spouting about, directx support comes from your graphic card not the operating system. And Overwatch 2 doesn't even support DX12 yet, it's still marked as being in beta and only shows on select new gpus.
