If someone reports it, it's valid.
Gunna be funny when blizzard removes all direct player to player communication from the game...
The only other alternative is the entire playerbase gets banned eventually
I'll remember that if i spot you in any of my games. I'll make double sure to report you for baiting people by intentionally acting like a turd, sabotaging your team, because if there's one thing i know, Blizzard don't take kindly to people who troll either. People i used to play with experienced that the harsh way themselves.
You're literally stooping to the lowest levels just to get back at random people who caused you no harm in the past. That's not just childish, that's utterly pathetic.
That's actually fine tbh. If you intentionally throw, then you'll eventually fall to the bottom of the barrel anyway where you'll meet players with similarly garbage attitudes, so people who actually play the game properly will never have to interact with you.
And similarly, anyone dumb enough to fall for your 'cunning' trap are likely the caliber of person you are anyway, so you'll likely have a great time being trapped forever with them, and losing them will be a net plus for the rest of us.
Only on the internet could someone turn into some pseudo troll batman who actually provides a service at the cost of his own life and time, thinking that he's being some edgy anti-hero, when he's actually just helping the game he hates but plays in some twisted display of masochism lmao
Have fun with your witch hunt, and falsely reporting players for not being as good at the game as you think they should be..
It's sad that the playerbase has degenerated to such a poor state where the trolls and bad players are indistinguishable..
Your welcome to be mad, but you should direct it at blizzard, for trying to play speech police but not actually fairly enforceing it...
There's only 2 ways this ends...
All direct player to play communication is disabled.
Or
They stop punishing people for it..
Both players who say things they shouldn't as well as those who cry about it are both part of the problem..
So basically what you're saying is this: waah waah I want to be a ♥♥♥♥ to everyone but they won't let me waah waah waah
For your sake, i certainly hope your online attitude isn't translated into your real life attitude.
If people insult me or my friends, or the entire lobby, or others, by posting slurs or other masked insults, you can be sure i'm reporting. The less toxic players we have to deal with, the better for everyone.
If people get super frustrated over a game, they should take a break or find some other game to play rather than insult the people they play with or against.
Take accountability.
If someone tries to tell me how to play my character I'm reporting your lame @$$ out of annoyance
If someone insults my friends IRL or in game I tell them where to go. I don't find the nearest figure of authority to fight my battles for me.
I'm a support main ffs. We get more ♥♥♥♥ than any other role and rarely are toxic ourselves. However, as I'm not a complete (female dog) I would like to reserve the ability to defend myself properly from toxicity without getting punished for it.
If you can't handle mean words maybe mute chat. That's a far easier and reliable way to avoid toxicity and the best part is you don't have to report everyone.
It's also funny how "anti-mean :(" your stance is whilst you also include ad hominem attacks in your comment about what I'm like IRL... It's almost like there's a distinct hypocrisy at play where you're no less toxic than anyone else. You just want to report people to see them punished rather than settling it yourself. So, I'll say again, stop being a baby.
The most toxic person in the room is typically the first person complaining about it...
Everyone is "toxic", some just choose to live in ignorance or denial of their own "toxicity", and seem to think that it excuses their Intolerance of the "toxicity" of others..
The sad reality of the situation is those who cry about "toxicity" are a bigger contributor to the "toxicity problem" than those who they are crying about.
Worst of all is more often than not they are provoking said "toxicity"..
Just because your a "casual player" does not excuse your willful ignorance of the game to detrimentally impact the experience of others.. right here literally explains a large portion of the "toxicity problem"
And if you are playing it badly or wrong take accountability? Or is this a case of muh money muh freedom muh time? Except its other peoples time as well so they deserve a say too.
Players should be allowed to play badly, and other players should be allowed to call them out, to a reasonable degree..
The problem is there is no defined "reasonable degree" when it comes to enforcement..
I call it the way i see it, buddy.
It's not about growing a thicker skin, it's about showing respect for other human beings.
Rarely toxic supports? Give me a break.. The most toxic are support, tanks in second with dps tagging right behind.
There's toxic people in all roles. Calling people babies because they report toxic players is as toxic as it gets. Childish even.
The way people behave online tend to reflect their attitude in real life as well, that's why i said 'for your sake' because such attitudes tend to be rather unhealthy for people in real life. Nothing toxic about what i said whatsoever.
