Support has all the fan favorite characters, old and new, with good builds on all of them and pretty good balancing. DPS and tank by comparison are missing a lot of fan favorite heroes and the build options for them are messier and less balanced. Especially DPS, where the three best choices are just 3 hitscans that all play similarly to how they play in normal Overwatch.
Blizzard probably should've seen this coming, it's really mostly that support has Mercy, Kiri and Juno which are all crazily popular heroes in general, while tank and DPS players are lacking many of their favorites.
