18 consecutive defeats in competitive.

It's never happened to me in my life, and from one day to the next, I had 18 losses in a row. I won one now, and well, I lost the next one.
I don't understand. Maybe there are games I play poorly, but not in all of them. I try to be with the team and help them, but I don't understand why they put me in groups.
It's terrible. I just want to get the drive, and this is the first time I can't.

yeah, I wouldn't mind, honestly. But I won't be able to get 4,000 Drive points like that. If it were another time, I'd be upset, but not as much.

yeah these type of behaviors happen
even in the april fools event gamemode they put moira into a full dps as a joke because devs are aware of that

its simple: i genuinely enjoy the game whether i'm losing or winning. playing mercy is like playing an entirely different Parkour game. I collect bonus points by doing silly things like rezzing around corners or through ceilings. Extra points for damage-boosting unorthodox targets at the right times. My sombra just came out of stealth? Fly over and Damage boost her for the pick to acquire two bonus points. stuff like that. Mercy is the most fun hero in the game because you're playing a different genre. You guys are playing Overwatch, I'm playing Tony Hawk's Dancing Doctor.

Game is rigged they have patents on it quit and play Marvel Rivals or something else heavily censored game as well so you cant evne tell if you have humans in team they give you bots and if you are sussecful they bring you down to sell you skins from team who stomped you etc.

Nah, thanks. I'm not a Marvel fan, but I've already played it. I'm not new to Overwatch either, I've had 2000 hours xD but in all those 2000 hours I've never been there.

Average comp experience. Worst lose streak I had was 11. Matchmaking is just absurd.

(Perhaps there's something wrong with my MMR and the game thinks I can carry in plat rank. Can't be more wrong.)

The problem is that playing alone sometimes makes you depend a lot on your team, and even if you say I'll do my job and see your score well and feel like you helped, and they lose, it feels like you don't deserve that.
But that's a problem with every game.
I'm not saying I play excellently and all that, and I have my flaws in some games, but having so many consecutive losses and being put in with either a full team, or the WORST, SMURFS!

I started my Drive run at Plat 3. On the first day I won a bunch and got to Plat 2 and Tier 2 of the Drive. The next day I lost so much I went down to Gold 1. LOL. But I got my Drive no biggie. I lost so much I went down 4 ranks, at Gold 1 the enemies are easier they're at a skill level below what I'm used to so I just won a lot and got my Drive.

I'll be back in Plat soon enough but season already ending and don't feel like playing anymore. I'll play Comp when next season starts.

I'm also a Mercy Main. If you do your job you are a real asset to your team, did you not know that? Mercy is the #1 enabler hero, no other hero even compares. As long as you do your job right you're a force multiplier for the entire team (not just a pocketed hero enabler).

I will admit though at Platinum tier Mercy is hard to use unless you look out with a good DPS or Tank, because enemy DPS are much better at killing you than in Gold and lower. When I play Mercy in Gold or lower I can usually dance around the enemy and stay alive until my team gets wiped so I can actually carry as Mercy. Heck at Bronze I can Battle Mercy and just kill the enemy DPS and Tanks myself.
