Every other "Goats" match is full of dps.....

I'll have 1 fun match of Goats then the next I'm the only tank on my team and there's 5 dps a game. (7 if you don't count Doom as a Hybrid). I understand going dps on some old maps, like King's Row and Volskaya Industries, you'd want to play Sym and maybe old Bastion. People should just play open queue if they wanna play mass dps.

5 dps on team instant L...overwatch is teambased game. You actually need team comp if the other team have got their right lineup.

No matter how much blizzard social media tries to promote it as such, this is NOT "goats mode", it's just another version of Overwatch Classic. Which is good because not being able to play as most of the heroes would be stupid, and there's a reason the current version has role limits.

GOATS is an old Overwatch team that picked 3 tanks and 3 supports to infinitely sustain.

They played a now famous team composition which consists of 3 Tanks (Reinhardt, Zarya, D.Va) and 3 supports (Brigitte, Moira, Lucio). The team composition is now known as GOATS. "Go All Tanks and Supports."

I don't think they are trying to say it's a goats gamemode, they've just been naming their classic modes after the meta for the patch.

Also during goats 2-2-2 was still common on ranked ladder up on till gm it was a pretty viable counter to goats, and in the mid to lower ranks as always the meta was irrelevant and people just played whatever.

Welcome to classic overwatch. The part your missing is no one in that team qued wanting mass dps, everyone clicked play hoping the same thing "I'll pick dps first and someone else will pick support/tank" then no one does and no one wants to be the one to switch.
