Why is everyone so damn toxic.

I have 3 hours in this game and people are already getting salty enough to t-bag me.

seems like they're going too hard with the bans to battle the toxicity issue.
turn off the [all] chat as well, to avoid extra toxicity from the other team in text chat

Most people who are still playing this game are extremely mad that Blizzard has given them absolutely nothing for nearly 5+ years except more and more expensive skins, and rather than just moving onto games that care more about their playerbases experience, they just keep playing this game and taking out their frustration on everyone around them.

I would guess its supercharging now since it took Blizzard just 2 months to actually add content to this game after Marvel Rivals came out and was an actual threat to them, proving that at any point in time in the last 5 years they COULD have added meaningful content, but chose not to because they simply care that little about making the game good for the people still supporting it that they won't add a single thing to it until competition forces them to.

If I were an OW fan, Id be pretty bitter too.

Yea…. Its Almost a decade old game, years of new players joining and evolving will bound to make the most toxic community ever created. Especially when blizzard trying to make the game to be competitive

I would either stop playing the game or turn off all chat, i quit the game because of how often people would be rude even if they were winning with ease, usually It's when people winning with ease are the rudest. Most of the community is awful it's no wonder the devs don't like to listen to them.

You are the guy who complains that their potato PC can't run it right? Makes sense the mere mention of a superior game that you can't play would trigger you into such a response.

I'm sorry you are stuck with this trash. Maybe someday you can get a PC that can compete with the specs of a PS3 and be able to run Rivals just fine like the rest of us can.

never complained about not being able to run it, i played and grabbed all rewards in season 0, you must be confusing me with someone else.
the game is just dogsht aside from its performance issues

I've never been banned, i use voice all the time in ranked but only for callouts and gameplay related things.

Overwatch is an over curated nightmare that will gladly strip mine it's content to sell you a third of its base content at 3x the price.

The devs need to go find new jobs, Microsoft needs to admit it wasted it's money, the competitive scene is long abandoned, you can't really unlock content without paying insane prices to cover development costs (what does that mean?)

Also remember when players complained about no cosmetics? And blizzard said, oh ya. It takes us 2 years to make a single new skin because of how much work we put into it. Really? Realllllllly?

Let them get fired. I realllly want to see them get fired.

It's an older game now, so everyone who still plays it assumes everyone else has also been playing for awhile and knows every minute detail about it. It's kind of pathetic, really.
