Why say start of week when it's not start of week
They said, "Loot boxes will reset every week!" What they meant was, "Hey loot boxes reset every Tuesday." That makes zero sense, especially when our weekly's reset on TUESDAY. I cannot level up in the battle pass just by playing the game, it takes years to get to the next page.

Am I not supposed to assume that "resetting weekly" means starting at the beginning of the week? In gaming weekly's usually start when the next week happens, on Monday not Tuesday, because that is the start of the week.

no youre not, weekly is every week, doesnt matter which day, could be friday, weekly on friday.
weekly reset in OW is tuesday, they release new seasons on tuesday.
the weekly reset day for a live service game is usually the day when updates or new events drop.

You know what also happens weekly? Steam maintenance, which is also tuesday. Want to cry to steam that their updates are on Tuesday aswell? Even the game Dead By Daylight has weeks based on tuesday. It isnt the most unheard of thing

In software engineering, a new week always starts in the middle (or end) of a week.

This is because updates take time to deploy, you need software engineers updating the server and everything, it can't be done instantly on a Monday morning. (and we all know that making a software engineer work a monday morning is NOT a good idea)

Also, it flatters the concurrent user curve, which is better for servers
