* Worked on Liberation
* Worked on Mirrorwatch
* Worked on Battle of the Beasts
Mirrorwatch was impresive and a interesting event including new things like sombra using support and healing abilities, a improved variant of reinhardt with a shield who boost the damage across that shield and many more
also junkstains laboratory are using old stuff from the past game and even scrapped content from the deceased pve mode?
they would need to see massive profits from a PVE event before even thinking restart the campaign
they will never deliver what was promise
ever
and even if they do
it's too late
i mean just look how they managed the invasion campaign
is so badly and awful
15 dolars with the reward of a sojourn skin
unworthing of effort and time
and the proof?
most of the events like trials of the santuary, Junkerstain laboratory, quickplay hacked and many more
also
>The devs wanted to show glimpse on what we could have played so they added this stuff on "events"
if they really wanted to do that
they just release all the past content like 6vs6, overwatch archives or even put all the assault maps playable again, instead of making a Limited time mode called classic and continue making nonsense changes who appeals to nobody
and bring back 6vs6 in the standard comp / unranked
Cyberpunk 2077 was a mess at launch yet they turned it around and released the show that everyone loved, no mans sky was empty but the devs listened and made the game super fun to play now, and overwatch was a smashing hit 2016-2017 people loved the heros and wanted to know of the lore then we got the pve campaign reveal which blizzard lead us on for what 5 maybe close to 6 years that had everyone's attention people stuck around to see it and any extra details reveal like the skill trees and mission but Overwatch 2 launch with no campaign and then announce its not coming out. this single action permanently damaged overwatch's reputation
To me this means hero bans/drafts or more likely adding talents/perks to pvp like in Junkenstein's Laboratory.
tree abilities was removed and scrapped from the base game alongside with weapon inspections, flag banner emotes to all characters, hero gauntlet even
if anniversary was taked with serious behavior
it would be the best event of the year
the return of many of the classic cooperative modes
underworld, crisis survivor, most of the archives missions like the glorious retribution
with new changes like all hero pick to unlock new interactions and dialogues depending the situacion and the enemies to confront (Null sector, Talon or even new factions like the people from junkertown and many more)
also the thing who harmed and destroyed the overwatch reputation and LEGACY too are not only the broken promises or even the shady, retrograde, and pervert behavior behind doors
it was more
like the lack of progressism to improve the game (Ping system (voicelines added was a clean idea) and customization to the player profile was decent features aleast)
to add more diverse histories and fill with more lore to the characters
not only in the comics but in the cinematics too
They were rumors about some huge 2025 announcement. They were also messing with pickable passives. They are definitely doing something huge in the background.
Hero bans for competitive, talents and map voting would be great additions to the game.
Prioritizing skins and collaborations over expanding the game with real content was Blizzard's biggest mistake. By not expanding it, they've caused people to abandon it and stop supporting it. I understand they want to make the game profitable, but they crossed the line by completely forgetting that it's a game and not a shopping simulator.
Let's hope it's true this time.
Thats true just look at this mess
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2jvwIdrxJ4
a glorified epic skin with the title of legendary
>but they crossed the line by completely forgetting that it's a game and not a shopping simulator.
and people still forgive their sins when they release free content from challenges or seasonal events like halloween with a pricetag included
