New to Overwatch. Which hero should I main?

So I recently came from Marvel Rivals. I played that game for a bit, but to be honest, I feel Overwatch would be better because I grew up on Blizzard, so I know Blizzard is always going to be my ol' reliable, so-to-speak (played WoW, Diablo, etc. growing up, so I know I am always getting quality products from this company).

Anyways, I want to know what hero would be best for me. I was a Psylocke main in Rivals, so who do you think best fits that playstyle in this game? Thanks.

Psylocke is a bit of a mix between Genji and Sombra, you should check those two.

Just be aware that OW is much more about controlling space, and the objective is always the most disadvantageous position to be in.

hmm id say that first try the ones you like how they look.. its good to be comfortable with a character.. later you will find the one you adapt better to it to main it. id start playing with kiriko and i was very bad so after 50hs of kiriko y get tired of the same so i change to dva, at the first was hard but with the time i learned and know that this is my character, now i play very gud with her jj c: goodluck

You know that this game have some implicit social rules right ? If you don't respect tham of course people are going to report you.

ana have nothing in common with Psylocke, but ana is the most popular hero in the game, it is a sniper support that heal people, overall support are very cool to play in OW, even if this have nothing to do with flankers

Come on don't lie, you've played Overwatch 2 for 1000+ hours already 🤣 Are you trying to fool people into thinking that this dying game can still attract new players. The only hero you need to main when playing OW2 is called: Alt F4

Nah I personally find Rivals to be overrated riddled with imbalance. Plus, nobody knows who this company that made that game is whereas Blizzard has a track record of producing high quality games that all age very well.

The other suggestions are valid, but Kiriko is thematically closer, and people play her as a DPS who dabbles in healing anyway.

Outside of OW, Psylocke is VERY similar to Skye from Paladins, both visually and gameplay wise.

Have you tried reaper? Psylocke plays like a more flanky version of reaper but with a dash and sombra invs.

Nothing lke Psylocke. The above poster already said all you need to know. Psylocke is a sort of mix between Genji and Sombra. With Reaper's Ult.

Genji is your best bet for a hero that plays similar to Psylocke.

But the correct choice to main is Mercy.

Netease is a well-known company with a terrible track record.
