Are there really people who consider Overwatch 2 a dead game?

I've played worse dead games and they've still been alive for years.
Everyone will have their own way of seeing the games, but in my case I don't see it that way, and I won't deny that it is currently in decline to be fair.

I mean. The balancing and playerbase both make many players leave for Rivals. Including many streamers who were doing OW content.

Game is stale, playerbase is awful and they ruined the game with false promises. No story mode, only adding 6v6 to get players back from Rivals when 6v6 never shouldve left, only unlocking all characters recently because it was a dumb idea to have to unlock/pay for characters. etc

In the loading screen, by the player names, you already know who will win.

In OW1, ~40% of players were smurfs. Now that number is closer to 60%. Fair matches are effectively non-existent.
Gameplay is worse than OW1 in all but like three ways.
Major bugs that have existed for years -- even up to 8 years -- have yet to be fixed.
Flashpoint is so bad people quit it even in comp because not even playing at all is funner.
Game is bleeding players faster than ever.
No real Customer Service anymore. What few aren't bots, outright lie to you.

I dunno about "dead", but it sure has a lot of symptoms of a dead game...

Dopet they will leave marvel rivel after couple of months because everyone will pick meta and more try hard and won't be fun anymore

Overwatch can be thriving again if they just stop focusing on skins and delivered what they had promised. That's the sad part. They don't even need to do dramatic changes. Like just win the hearts of the community back that's all. Like Marvel rivals is a good game don't get me wrong but OW F'up so bad that people's boundaries are so low that they started glazing a Marvel version of Paladins
