You are completely missing the point, I'm comparing a hero shooter to another hero shooter.
Valve's own games are always super popular on Steam, not to mention Counter Strike is huge in Russia and Eastern Europe, and Dota is huge in Asia so that's where those numbers are from.
Btw it's 384,444 concurrent players for Marvel Rivals now. Overwatch 2's peak is only 75,608 on Steam (even though the game used to be hugely popular but Blizzard f it up). Those numbers could have been Overwatch players.
we don't know the actual numbers as most players still play via battle net.
but a bootleg ragnarok with extra steps
GG blizzard and also venture New legendary skin is just another glorified recolor like terrible tornado kiriko
More nails to the coffin!
It'll be interesting in about a months time when the game ramps up a bit more and that first wave of hype has died down.
Game sucks. It's going no where lol. Will keep a casual audience of Marvel fans but team shooter fans are gonna move on quick.
By the way Apex Legends launched with 624,473 players on Steam, almost 10 times the number of Overwatch 2.
I'm likely staying since I was never a Marvel person.
There’s none of that terrible role system, 5v5 format, or locked roles. Even as a brand-new game, its matchmaking system is already better. Everything about it feels fresh and polished, and I couldn’t be happier to see it succeed. Hopefully, it’ll pave the way for OW2 to finally fade into obscurity. Let’s be honest: the game is already broken beyond repair.
Most people who still play are probably just attached to the lore and characters or reluctant to let go of the money and time they’ve already sunk into it. But for me, and many others, OW2 has become nothing more than a garbage that slapped a “2” on the Overwatch name without offering anything meaningful.
What are you even talking about??? Deadlock isn’t even finished yet—it’s still in Beta, and you need invites to play it. And guess what? At certain times, it even has more players on Steam alone than OW2.
also poe is about to humiliate diablo, blizzard deserve it
