And don't get me started on the priority of banning, you can smurf and cheat, but god forbid you say that your ana is trash and should uninstall, you are insta silenced and then chat suspended. There are blatant cheaters and smurfs in this game, why is it still a problem? And permanent banning someone for being toxic, while not even refunding? Atleast have the decency to refund the money people have spent on your game. This game is suited for people who are anti social and just wanna play a single player hero shooter.
Oh yes, because apparently, not being toxic now means "don't bother communicating." What a fascinating take. If your idea of teamwork is flaming your Ana instead of, I don’t know, actually making callouts and adapting, then maybe you are the problem.
Also, the classic "other games don’t ban toxicity" argument—yeah, totally solid. Just because some games let their community ROT, every game should do the same, right? Genius.
And let’s talk about priorities: so you're saying banning smurfs and cheaters is important (agreed), but somehow toxicity should get a free pass? Like, "yeah, let people be awful to their teammates, it’s fine as long as they don’t smurf"? That's an interesting moral compass you got there.
As for refunds—bro, if you go into a restaurant, SCREAM at the staff, and get kicked out, you don’t get your meal refunded. Actions have consequences, and if you willingly ignore the game’s rules, that’s on you.
At the end of the day, the core message is really simple: DON'T BE AN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you have an Ana who’s playing poorly, you have two options:
- If it’s a CASUAL game, then why are you even mad? Quick Play exists for chilling, trying out new heroes, or just having fun without pressure. Everyone was bad at some point, and the only way people improve is by playing and receiving actual constructive feedback. Just saying "you suck" doesn’t magically make them a pro.
- If you’re in COMPETITIVE, I get the frustration, but again, yelling "you’re trash" won’t fix anything. Instead, suggest a hero swap or encourage them to practice more in Quick Play.
Bottom line? You can say the same things without being TOXIC. If your definition of “teamwork” involves tearing down your teammates instead of helping them improve, maybe the real issue isn’t the game—it's YOU.
And yes I would rather have a toxic ♥♥♥♥ head who somewhat plays well then a smurf or a cheater, you can mute a toxic, can you do the same for a smurf or a cheater, are you ok with having either on your team or the enemy team. Other games have bans and suspensions but the severity is night and day.
And qp must be fun, but do you like losing? I don't, and what if I wanna trash talk or someone wants to troll a little, do they deserve a ban just for having fun their own way?
I am not a monk like you man, I get frustrated when our ana is being not only homophobic but has less healing then our zen, what do you do then, politely tell that he has issues and has to heal and that he should loved his homies and kiss them goodnight?
People like you are the reason why modern gaming has gone soft to a level where even chatting or using voice chat is likely to get you banned more than smurfing or even using cheats.
Incredible how of my teammates are trolling or someone else is being toxic and I call them out, I AM the PROBLEM, how do you wrap your head around to get a mindset supports a company that sees profits before players?
Oh wow, what a plot twist—this thread about toxicity is suddenly about smurfs, cheaters, and corporate greed. If only there were another place to discuss those things!
But hey, no need to rehash my thoughts on cheaters and smurfs, I think we all agree they suck. The difference is, this conversation is about people who act like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and then cry when they get punished for it.
And yeah, nobody likes losing. Guess what? Neither did your teammates back when you were new and probably sucked. But they weren’t justified in flaming you, just like you’re not justified now. Insults don’t make anyone better, they just make you look like a clown.
As for "people like me," buddy, I’ve been playing online for 25 years, when most of today’s player base wasn’t even a thought in their parents’ heads. I’ve seen gaming communities before moderation, after moderation, and at every stage in between. You know what hasn’t changed? People who think "talking ♥♥♥♥" is a personality trait.
And the best part? You straight-up admitted that you have fun insulting people. So yeah, tell me again—who's the real problem here?
I’ll definitely have fun—after all, I haven’t been permabanned for toxicity, unlike someone here :)

Do not use big words without knowing their meaning.
"Fascist" means preventing someone from expressing their thoughts.
"Civil" means expressing one's thoughts in a non-toxic, non-insulting, and non-overbearing way. "Civil" also means enforcing the rules that guarantee freedom of thought, as long as it does not descend into gratuitous and pointless insults.
"Uncivil" is taking pleasure in insulting others.
"Infantile" is complaining when punished for knowingly breaking those rules.
"Your freedom ends where mine begins," and your freedom to insult should end the moment everyone else's freedom to play and relax without enduring your toxicity and pent-up anger begins.
