Overwatch 2 wont open - black screen

Hi! Okay so I have the black screen of death. I was encountering some issues in the prior weeks with the game freezing when i went to fullscreen mode, and would have to restart my entire computer to get it to work.

Now, today, I performed a PC update and overwatch is just a black screen now. I restarted my pc and tried again 2x, then uninstalled, reinstalled - and nothing,

For reference I have an 8 month old gaming PC, and only have a couple of games on here. I think I have like 600GB left.

UPDATE: I just performed a corrupt file check and nothing bad came back. Help :(

you think thats what it is? that would be crazy, but i wouldnt doubt it. I was playing it fine up until about a month or two ago. ill try to find out if mine is up to date.

my graphics card is the AMD Radeon RX 7600 btw

UPDATE:

i went into graphics settings, went to overwatch and turned OFF windowed screen optimization, and switch the GPU to the AMD Radeon RX 7600. It seems to be working now! Windows mustve changed the default settings with the update. Im crossing my fingers!

I was going to say change GPU to amd or nvidia in overwatch settings but wasnt sure how you were able to do it when the screen is black haha.

and yeah that must be it, i remember my windows update changed it to default not too long ago because I noticed refresh rate was wonky when Overwatch was using default gpu instead of my graphic card. Didnt get black screen though.
