Overwatch 2 is getting way too much hate

Blizzard has been quite generous lately, for instance through the 600 gold coins they give us in the free battle pass we can buy the premium battle pass once every 2 seasons. So then why is everyone still hating on Overwatch 2 when there are even more lazy developers that don't listen to their communities like Valve when it comes to CS2 and TF2?

This is just the backlash of all the OW1 years, OW2 is a good game in a vacuum that suffers from all the mistakes of OW1.
Don't get me wrong, OW1 was a good game but it was never meant to be a game as a service, they made so many bad decisions that OW1 lost players during the covid years, but most people didn't realize it, so when OW2 came out the illusion was shattered and they saw the game for what it was (flawed) and started blaming everything on OW2.

The good news is that with marvel rival, we can finaly get rid of all of those people who want to play only one game, that way maybe they will realise what the g@ming industry looks like today.

Yeah I agree, OW1 was quite flawed after their bad decisions but in OW2 they certainly improved in many areas after listening to our feedback such as replacing 2CP with more balanced and engaging gamemodes. I hope more people can come out of their hate bubble and enjoy the game more, and the people that still hate it can move to other hero shooters I guess.

I played OW since 2017. Also you're just throwing accusations at Blizzard without any explanations, aside from locks in new characters which is now nonexistent. Flocks of sheep hating Overwatch 2 is all I see and you're just proving it.

It's just popular to hate on, everyone bandwagons. They can do whatever they want, even with all their hatorade Overwatch is still the #1 FPS game of all time and that really hasn't changed at all since 2016.

People are still lining up to pay Blizzard $40 for a new Mercy skin, the Marvel Rival whales aren't even buying Luna Snow skin I haven't seen a single one in my Rivals games, but I've already seen the new Mercy skin in my games and I'm usually playing Mercy so that's one less person possibly using the skin the lobby!

Luna is one character. Yet, I have seen many people using the Guardians of the Galaxy skins, the Antivenom skin, the Spiderman bag head skin, the Infinity Iron Man skin, The Hawkeye galactic skin, the Cloak & Dagger skins, Punisher 2099 skin, and so forth. People are buying skins. The Luna skin is simply terrible.

Rivals has its flaws, for sure. Lack of skin purchases isn't one of them.

Earn your free premium currency through challenges (which encourages you to continue playing) buy battle pass to unlock even more currency and skins. Marvel rivals skins are exclusively in game currency and not premium (although you can exchange them for it.) Now we turn to overwatch, 600 coins free from a battle pass (if you even have time to finish it) challenges that give you weekly xp boost, and events that only bring more cosmetics to buy that are x4 or even x6 times the amount of a battlepass. Meanwhile theyll only give skins to the characters that have the highest playtime instead of giving everyone a nice skin. i.e. rammatra rock eater. #Overfomo

it's basically the same exact system in overwatch in rivals you only get 300 Lattice whereas the bp costs 490
