Xbox Game Pass Rewards on Steam version

Okay, there are already threads discussing the problems with Game Pass rewards. But there is no thread asking the developers about it. So I want to ask, why can't I get Game Pass rewards in the Steam version of the game? Give us an answer, will this be fixed? Or is there some reason why rewards don’t work in the Steam version?

Game Pass permanent rewards are only redeemable on Xbox and Battle.net. Once redeemed, the permanent rewards are available on all platforms. Links made after November 11, 2024 are not eligible for the one-time permanent grant. If you have a PC tier, you will only be able to redeem on Battle.net. Console tier will only be redeemable on Xbox consoles. Game Pass seasonal benefits are only available on Xbox and Battle.net. For more information please review our support article by clicking here.

If you have gamepass, make sure your account is linked to steam. Download and run the game from gamepass. This will activate your rewards in Overwatch 2. Uninstall overwatch 2 from gamepass and play it from steam. The rewards will be active on the steam version.

I already got rewards through battle.net. I want seasonal cosmetics that don't appear if I play through steam

do you still get the xp bonus doing this or is it only on the gamepass/battlenet version
