Game downloads on every launch?

Has anyone else been experiencing this recently? Every time I launch the game it basically "downloads" itself again? Is this because the blizzard launcher closes when I quit the game so it has to open it again, or is there something else going on?

The same problem has been going on for a week, since the store update. It not only makes you wait 5 minutes to log in every time, but also in case of disconnect in the rating, it does not allow you to re-enter the game immediately, hanging a restriction and lowering the rating... It is not treated by deleting the cache, reinstalling the game and other manipulations.. Here you can only wait for Blizzard to fix the Steam client with its file integrity check..

I think this weirdly might be to do with razer synapse? Are you guys on razer synapse 4 by any chance? I don't get this issue with 3 but the chroma no longer works. The Chroma works on razer synapse 4 but every launch requires a 2 min download, very odd.

I dont have Razer, its only Blizzard's fault, and Blizzard are the only one's to fix.

Yea and its been so laggy too. My game crashed (for the first time) in the middle of a comp game during the drive event. I tried restarting OW only to wait like 5-10 mins for it to download the content.

I had this happen to me two days ago! it penalized me for it too...

Dude Ive been having this same problem lately and i honestly thouight it was my steam at first but i guess not. Is it just steam? Has the same issue been happening with battlenet?

Happens to my and my friends as well and I'm thinking about just switching back to battlenet because it's annoying having to wait 30 minutes EVERY time I want to play Overwatch

i accidently uninstall overwatch and it didnt show up that one time but if you exit the game and go back in it will do the download crap again so just wanting to let you guys know so it isn't a fix.
