Yeah cause that's how it used to work back then. But people like the other guy can't understand that. Yes counter was a thing but it wasn't heavy counters. In OW2 a tank can switch and everyone just swaps off to something else.

Another question would be, is that the only nerf, or is there more to it than that..?

Either way, I don't really see this to be that much of a deal.

Perhaps, that's just bad wording, but even then I see him unable to damage through Symmetra's wall as a reasonable change that should've been there for months, if not years.

Well that's what I meant as in he can't attack through shields. They turned him more of a shield breaker than just completely ignoring and doing AoE damage through barrier. This didn't ruin his character. He's still very good people just love to complain. He should of never had the ability to damage through barriers to begin with. Already he is mega tanky has a shield ton of armor and can even poke and slow.

I see.. That will be good to know once I decide to play some matches as a tank, but I sure don't feel like it for the time being.
I'd rather constantly play Juno, Brigitte, and Kiriko, possibly Echo, Ashe, Reaper, Symmetra.. Whatever the situation demands out of those few.

That said, I might've relied a bit too much on playing Ramattra when I couldn't think of a better pick.
D.Va got countered by Zarya, then they picked Orisa, and I didn't know what to do when the team refused to pick some hitscan against their Echo and Pharah.. So I thought of picking Mauga, but there was Mercy and one other support who was constantly getting targeted, me being after that unlucky player, so I needed something that can handle both.
Perhaps, I will find myself jumping into the many times mentioned Orisa META or what were people on about while I was watching E-Sports the other day.
That makes no sense to me, why would Orisa out of all the possible picks be the META, and is that even at least a bit truthful?

The thing with Orisa is that she's good overall. She has her Jav to stun and stop abilities. Her fortify to become more tanky and her Jav spin to negate pretty much every projectile. She has a lot of sustain on her own. Tank role just became very unbearable to play honestly speaking as a tank player myself. It came at a point I have an easier time winning games as DPS and Support. Mauga and Ram should of never been a thing to begin with to be honest. They are trying to balance 1 tank since you're pretty much the frontline and damage sponge but it doesn't go well every time. But even then Orisa has great counters like Zarya Sym Mei Zen. Pretty much every beam or long range dps can take care of Orisa.
