Discussion of the new imbalance hero Hazard
This topic was created to discuss the new fully imbalance hero - his abilities and practical application.

I will try to refrain from emotions.

1. Health - 500 hp, half the armor. On armor, bursts and shotguns do only half the damage. For comparison - the Junker Queen has only 375 hp. Orisa has only 475 hp.

2. Weapon - hitscan, long-range shotgun with a very small spread and fast reload. Of the tanks, the most similar to the Junker Queen

3. Mobility - very high. Dash with knockback of the enemy with damage with a cooldown of 4 seconds. Doomfist has a cooldown of 6 seconds. Reinhardt has 7 seconds. Mauga has 5 seconds.

Vertical mobility - can climb walls.

4. Skill - Spiked Wall. Like Mei, but plus it deals damage and pushes the enemy away, dealing a lot of damage. Cooldown is 7 seconds. Mei has 9 seconds.

5. Protective Shield - protects against attacks from the front, cooldown is 1 sec. (!!!) Plus it deals damage at a short distance. It also replenishes ammunition. And changes the view to a third-person view. An analogue is Orisa's spear rotation with an 8-second cooldown, which deals damage only at point-blank range.

Preliminary conclusion - the new hero devalues all other tanks. He was made either by a person who does not understand the game at all, or who wants to completely ruin the game.

Tactics of playing for the hero - stupid spam of skills with a very short cooldown.

I will object once, discuss, but only on the merits. If I missed something, write what.

Hazard has 650HP dude. 425 Health, 225 Armor.
Junker Queen has 525HP. Orisa has 625HP.

At least get your facts right.

Hazard will 100% be nerfed on release, hero previews are always overtuned, and they are always toned down on release, and usually toned down even further on Comp unless underperforming.

You dont need to spam the board with identical topics about this (and a million other pointless things), no wonder you're getting banned here.

You know this is not the official release right? They are testing the hero so they can nerf it on season 14. If you dont like going against the hero just wait for the weekend to end

I mean, he's alright. Doesn't cause me nearly as much suffering as Venture.

Spiked wall can also be placed on walls and ceilings, not just on the floor. AND it's got infinite range with is beyond insane.

You also forgot to talk about his ult that also hits behind walls, has insane range and width + hits on all floor levels and can grab a phara, mercy, echo out of the air at max height.

This is not a test this is just straight up stupid. To the point in which I will not play overwatch this weekend.

Why? Hazard isn't even that strong. His TTK is pretty bad. I honestly think Doomfist is scarier. He is nothing like Venture or Doomfist. His kit is definitely loaded and on insane cooldowns, though, but he's far from overpowering.

In fact, this is the first hero preview I have seen where people stopped using the new hero within the day. When venture came out literally every lobby had two Ventures the entire weekend. Juno was somehow even worse because not only was two of her in every lobby, one of her or even two of her were outperforming the other supports almost every single time.

need to reduce his wall damage and health and protective shield spikes damage. He is a tank in 5v5 so his wall cooldown wont be nerfed

He gets old quick and plus tank has less people want to play them especially in quickplay where it has less competent healers to catch up all the chaos.
They say that literally every time there's a new hero.

It's not about him being too weak. It's about him actually taking some skill to be good. That's why people stop playing him. That doesn't mean his kit isn't busted.

With Doomfist you hop in, charge, maybe 1-2 shots play defense and get out again.

With hazard you place a wall, hop in, shoot while jumping, bunny hop into jump slash, slash the enemy into the wall, melee after he bounces back shoot again and defense stance. Everyone but tanks is dead at this point and he can jump out again easily already or just to his next victim. He can bounce from one to another player every 4 seconds and oneshot them easily.

Now imagine he roots you in place with his ultimate. You are dead at this point if he has sight on you. With his bunny hop mechanic he can also jump around corners easily if he knows you are there. And since it works behind walls, figure why it's busted.

1 kill every 4 seconds if you know how to play him, is pretty absurd. I don't see venture doing this.
