So smurfing is bannable or at least Blizzard say so
I tried to report a blatant smurf player who was ruining the game for both our team and enemy team (he was on enemy side, 20 hrs total of play and with one hour on genji he was god-like, no pfp nor labels or things like that + endorment 1 so... Anyway, i reported him for griefing the match yesterday and today I received the notification from the game saying they took action without specifying the kind of penalty that player will receive, So yeah.. smurfing is actually reportable and bannable (or soft bannable).

And now imagine what if he actually plays various MMOFPS in which he has experience and he really had 20 hours in game, wouldn't be so fun.

I know what you're trying to say, but it was quite hard to believe that especially due to the fact he perfectly knew how to move in the map, how to counter attack most of our teammates (which were pretty decent) and what made me realize he was smurfing was his interaction with his whole team, know exatcly when and how attack. Not saying his three times blade made like 3 to 4 kills per time. Genji is not that kind of gameplay u usually find in other FPS or Hero shooters... that's why he was blatantly a smurf. Glad to know smurfing is considered griefing btw, but it has its own good and bad sides.
Modern devs need to just come to your house and baby proof all the sharp corners these days.

So what, if you have to make a new account for any reason, you have to pretend to be ♥♥♥♥ for the first 100 hours?

If u lost ur main account by any ban type there should be a reason... But imo smurfing is bad, punishing it is ok for me

That doesn't answer the question.

Your question wasn't asked in good faith

Literally just give me an answer. If I have to make a new account, am I smurfing if I don't intentionally play like ♥♥♥♥ for the first 100 hours, or what is it you expect me to do, exactly?

There is no "good faith," question here, and I wish people would stop improperly regurgitating pop-psy terms they don't have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue about.

But in first, why you should have a new account? I mean, if they banned ur main you did something who damaged the game in any way. So why make a new one? Just to be toxic again? Same Idea goes if u lost ur main one by any mean, like forgot credentials or something. If it was that important u should keep those credensial somewhere safe.

There is no "but in first." It has no bearing on what you are indicating you expect of people. What do you expect me to do?

It's extremely telling that you can't seem to answer this question and someone else is even swooping in to deflect on your behalf.

If you just want a broad answer to your question, then yes, you should probably play intentionally bad for 100 hours

That is hysterical. There is no problem with having multiple accounts, btw. You can literally enable battle.net to allow multiple instances to run simultaneously so you can be logged into more than one at a time. You can also have as many Steam accounts as you want.

It's a free to play game. There is no monetary barrier of entry. There is no way to conceivably prevent someone from playing it, in that there is nothing preventing anyone from having as many accounts as they want.

"You should probably play intentionally bad for 100 hours" may be the goofiest answer possible, though, so thank you for that.

Smurfing is making a new account to pretend you are a new player to play against other new players with the intent of bullying them with your pre-existing knowledge of the game that you are pretending not to have when you make a new account.

If this was a situation where it was common to have to be making new accounts to keep playing the game, then I would say no, but there is literally 0 reasons to have to make a new account outside of attempting to evade a ban, which should also lead to a ban as well. So yea, being a previous player of the game and making a new account to bully new players with your existing experience is the literal definition of smurfing, nomatter the reason, and you should get banned for it.
Okay so I just finished setting up my new account. Where do I go in the settings to inform blizzard im actually a top 200 level player so they don't match my brand new account against retarded ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?
