Fps issue (models not loading)
Fps issue
The game cant load the models of the characters. And when ingame every action or ability of your character or of the enemy team is causing freezes/lags. And moreover the ping count is increasing when that lag happens. Tried everything (Changing graphics etc, reloading, reinstalling, reinstalling from battle net) Same problem. Im sure it is the problem with assests/ models

information about your setup would be helpful
i5-9300HF
8gb ram
win10
gtx 1650
ssd 240gb
never had that kinda issue with ov1 and on the start 2 with ov2
sometimes that issue disappears like itself
but the last two weeks it isn't happenin'
160+ fps with high settings ingame
i think i know whats going on. ow2 wastes way more ram than overwatch 1, usually its wasting about 5-7 gigs of ram.
so whats happening is, you are hitting a cap of 7 gigs of ram on your system(remember your OS reserves 1 gig of ram to system) and for your OS to not hard crash your system is using Virutal memory aka: your SSD memory which is way slower than RAM, thus models either dont load, or they take a huge freaking time to load.

i say that cause i already ran out of ram memory playing ow1.

Vram could also be an issue, as the gtx 1650 only has 4gigs of vram, which imo is not enough to run textures on high.

there you go, get more ram OP, you are running out of ram, ow2 sometimes cache's 2 extra gigs of ram, by itself, and then cleans it, thus probably why you are having this issue half the time, cause the RAM clean gives your system enough ram to breathe.

Can I clean that RAM myself like the game does?
Also,I noticed that this thing happens after ov updates

nope, ow2 manages the ram, best thing you can do is do stuff that loads less ram. else ur crap out of luck.

or close background apps that use a lot of ram.

Just upgrade your frame and ssd, 250 is kind bs unless you sad boy who only play ow.

kanashi made a good observation but i would still try to free up more space on your ssd (how much is available? the game caches shaders & likely uses your page file like they said) before jumping onto an upgrade, since not everyone is in a financial situation to do so
i think its actually solved the problem! thx a lot!
