they never confirmed anything... probably not this year but they bring things back all the time, and will still haven't had an anniversary event yet (the event where most of the old stuff returns for a few days)

if they wanna bring back campaign events
They should have already done it in 2023 or 2022
but it seems that they are focused on making expensive collaborations rather than putting on decent events
the reward was only sprays and lootboxes to earn(now deleted from the base game)

also mentioning cosmic crisis was not the only campaign
Underworld co-op in season 6
although the majority did not like the event for different reasons, whether it was the reward skin or whether the event seemed mediocre compared to the pve invasion (which this would be worse since it did not give anything more than 3 missions)
Personally, it was more decent and better implemented than the current events that you gladly pay for as a flock.
