I also just got kicked from the servers (my internet was fine- didn't disconnect so it was an obvious OW server issue) and I lost rank because of it and was banned for a while.
I think its a combination of things from fewer people playing to a lot of people banned for server kicks (from what i hear this is happening a lot lately). If they still care about the playerbase they need to reset disconnect ban status or just get rid of the autoban because of this nonsense.
3000 for a green weapon HAHA NO.
my cousin also plays this game but in battlenet
but instead of taking these puke gamemode
he uses faceit
most of his matches are really epic and special
maybe is time to left behind that wasteland and pick better choices no?
My point is, students don't have school to attend anymore, so they have those two months of free time.. Which is gonna reflect from within the playerbase by the players' approach and behavior in-games, not just in Overwatch 2.
Playing with people who can control their emotions and with people who let the outbursts free are very different experiences.
Yep, players also choose not to put any effort into better learning the game and growing as players, allowing there wilfull ignorance to ruin the experience for others..
People want to throw pick feed and play deathmatch on my team.. fine, I will too..
Funny how always the worst player (aside from myself) on the team, crying about me..
Matchmaking is indeed horrible.
From the players perspective..
From blizzards it's working extremely well...
The problem is that forcing win rates causes the skill diversity of your playerbase to decline from the top down with time..
As the over all skill diversity of the playerbase declines matches become progressively more uneven, as that's the only way it can ensure win rates can be maintained..
It's not all bad, as the system is also extremely easy for players to manipulate. In fact the leaver penalty was added to qp as a way to stop players from unknowingly manipulating it into working against them even more so...
If enough players were taking advantage of it being easily manipulated, it would destabilize it to a point blizzard would be forced to action, and there's no way they could stop players from manipulating it, as they are taking advantage of the fundamental flaw of the system to disrupt it..
The simple solution to a players crappy matchmaking experience is as simple as playing extremely poorly and soft throw for a while..
I literally did this on my main for like a month.. and if I don't feel like a match Is worth trying in, I won't and will lose with a smile... always trying to ensure I lose more than I win...
Ever since my matchmaking experience has been much more tolerable, sure it's worse for everyone who has to play with me especially if I go full tryhard, as I'm effectively pseudo-smurfing
But if that's what I gotta do to have a decent experience, so be it..
You're having the losing streak too?? I was losing SO MANY GAMES, from PLAT 2 to Gold 3. THEN... When Pink Mercy release, a patch drops I suppost, correcting my losing streak and win tons of games.
I lose over 40 games and win only 8 times in Ranked as a Tank.
NOW... It's 64 win, 58 loses. It has NO SENSE.
If this keeps happenin to others, I PITY YOU. It sucks. There's no way to play, you're forced to fill losing matches.
I start losing again, 3 rank matches. I took a break, went to play The First Descendant.
Matchmaking is a JOKE....
