Will Rivals bury Overwatch?

It looks good, Netease copied Overwatch. The Chinese have been trying to release a game like Overwatch for years, especially taking revenge after Blizzard closed their servers.
Now the game design, art and gameplay is very similar. But it's a marvel/netease game. The strange thing is that it was released on steam and epic. I mean they come with everything

Overwatch will widely remain in Decline and out of favor of players until actual leadership from microsoft steps in and tackles the Match making system for its Core Game modes. Its gone from "leavers" to "throwers" and everyone that gets banned from the game simply makes a new account and the game gains zero money from this behavior for being free.

I'd personally like to see this game excel again back to its days of glory. But until they get their ****** together. its a done deal.

Paladin never was a source of problems for Overwatch,because is a extremely weird game that,outside of insane level of bugs,has basically no identity whatsoever,and that is essential for any kind of hero shooter who rely on... character appeal

I bet Rivals will die before Overwatch, that game looks cheap AF but i will give it a try when it releases.

Net Ease is what everyone claims Tencent is, but worse. I will not be playing it and don't expect it to live long in the west. China alone could be enough to sustain that game, so I don't expect it to just die off. I don't think it will drive players away from overwatch other than it's initial release.

If it can be a really good game with its mechanics, polish/quality, post launch, content pacing, or monetization etc I think it can. But then again its net ease, and their track record is not great. I think the artstyle and ideas/concepts are interesting, but for now I think once ppl will be able to actually play the game or see more info, then its up for debate. But overall if it somehow becomes a smash hit like a fortnite, valorant, apex, LoL, hell divers 2 level game I would be 100% open to try it and play it. At this point playing overwatch in general is insufferable dogwater and the burned reputation of the game and blizzard, so ye Im crossing fingers that rivals is good if not and rivals fails it is what it is so ye. I think rivals can compete OW2.
