Not doing a good job with LGBTQ

Now, I’m not LGBTQ myself, but I have no problems with them and fully support their community. However, I feel that this game just doesn’t do a good job with their LGBTQ characters. Nobody likes an LGBTQ person who makes being LGBTQ their whole personality. Almost every LGBTQ character in this game does that. “Here’s a cool new archeologist hero. ALSO THEYRE LGBTQ. Did you know that they’re also lgbtq? Oh yeah, one more thing. They’re lgbtq.”

I think you are making assumptions about the new character personality when we haven't hear any of the voice lines yet in game... They dont even mention that is is non binary on the trailer, also, correct me if I'm wrong but almost no character mention their sexual inclination in game specially lgbtq character... like tracer have like a couple of voice lines and maybe LiveWeaver but beside that they are very rare to be played, most of those referenced are mentioned one time on a comic, mentioned by the devs on a random tweet on their account or something like that.

I mean, how many years people spend speculating that soldier was gay until they release the Ana/Soldier comic where they open up about the struggles of letting their life behind and not being capable of going back for all the unforgettable things they did.

The point that OP is trying to make is that everything is about sexuality/identity even if Blizzard tries to "separate" it from the character, once someone is announced LGBT+ then it becomes the hot topic and the only lore about them ever mentioned by players. Oh, and nothing is being focused on actually improving their gameplay loop. That's it. That's the post.

Knowing that reaper is heterosexual/cisgender does not change his gameplay but yet I dont see the same kind of post about that and yet he have more voice lines in game about his sexuality, to be honest I dont care about the character sexuality unless is something that does not match what we have been told, like with the majority of the OW cast always has been clear some of them keeping in mind that some or most of Team 4 are LGBTIQ+...

What makes you think being LGBTQ is their whole personality? Where in the trailer or their voice lines do they make that the focus?

LGBTQ is not the same as "Pronouns Warriors" who doesn't understand the concept of gender. And seeing these people pushing non-existent "Gender" aka Non-Binary is very saddening.

Non-Binary doesn't make sense. You're either XX or XY, its in your DNA. You can live however you want, fill your personality with queer acts or rainbows or your sexuality being hetero, ♥♥♥♥, bi and so on.

I am really tired of people pushing this no-sense as a normal thing because It's not. The whole movement is stupid for me.

Your gender is NOT connected to social situations.

Your gender (aka sex) is BOND to your biology with either XX or XY. If you're not comfortable with it like how Trans men and women are you may change it with medicine but I do not recommend it due to sometimes people do regret changing.

That's just how it is. You may lie to yourself like many others and act how it is. But I don't support forcing these believes pushed towards me and people like me who lives in the truth.

Sexualities/Identities of characters doesn't change gameplay at all, but like I said it's to do with lore and when you mention a character is LGBT+ in said lore then everything else is ignored and the only thing brought up is what they are. It doesn't have to be brought up in game by any means, as long as its been mentioned once by a Blizzard employee then most players will pretty much never fail to remember that detail. Keeping in mind, OW is just not the kind of community for LGBT+ space even if Blizzard shows support for the community.

All you guys do by making posts like this is force more and more LBGTQ stuff into games and used as a marketing tool rather than it feeling like it was properly done for the character. Too many games these days just write it into the game as an after thought and think hey we are cool again for inclusion. Companies need to realize people that belong to this crowd dont mind the inclusion but also dont want it to be marketed to them the way they have been doing it just stop using it as a selling point. Write it in but let it be discovered rather then it being broadcast on a megaphone yelling rainbows rainbows everywhere

It's not disrespecting someone if I am telling them the truth. And the proven truth is that if you're XX then you're a Female. And if you're a XY then you're a Male. That's just how it is. Look from any angle, socially, philosophically, realistically.

You can only change it via Transforming and I do not recommend it. It's not just some Social statue like your relationship or what place you are in LGBTQ+.

I simply don't have to live in your delusions by thinking "I can be both".

Because in reality, you can't.
