To be fair im around a month new and only play Healer but I would still rather deal with 2 tracers then 1 Sombra.
every new player has issues with sombra, but she isnt as bad as she seems. just know the enemy has one and if you dont know where she is, act like she is behind you

knowing how to deal with something has ♥♥♥♥ all to do with liking it. just because someone figures out how to tolerate something doesn't somehow make it enjoyable. must be a sombra player.

Damage breaks invisibility, follow her or let her retreat and become situationally aware after that, she requires herself to be close to be effective and throws a visible translocator at attempts to escape.

Capable players and teams can deal with her, easily, I believe

Quit the cap Bum, You're Yapping. How does it sound for a Support to go chase Sombra? Her whole thing is to get the drop on people Tf you mean just be aware?

That's not helpful. The higher your rank the more pressure there is on the objective. You can't be looking around being paranoid or shooting at blank space when you've got four good coordinated players pushing your team. Its all about reflexes. Sombra's advantage is being able to engage whenever she feels like it. A good Sombra waits for her team to push, hacks & shoots virus on a healer, then just leaves. She can eliminate without even using her gun.
bro the higher in rank you go the less focus there is on objective, it's about controlling the map and most objectives are in terrible positions that will get you insta killed if you stand there, you have to control the map around the objective

sombra is only good in a team comp that synergizes with her, and she can't really get solo picks for free because players are positioned correctly for peel and have better reaction time

you can also spy check but it's pretty hero dependent and takes a lot of game sense, pro players do it in actual matches, it's not a waste of time it's very situational

You're not supposed to chase or beat a Sombra as a Support.

This is a team game. You play around your team helping you. If as a support you keep trying to 1v1 a Sombra, or if you insist on playing somewhere you can't get help from your team when she sneaks up on you, that's your bad play.

You also have the option of swapping to a Support that has more survivability if your team isn't helping you.

The game is not balanced around derp solo queue teams who would die to any good solo player, not just a Sombra.

I can't get back into diamond only because Sombra. We can stick together like a ball of death but still can't stop her from eliminating a healer then flying away invisible. I hate that hero more than anything.
a diamond team can easily turn in time to neutralize a sombra tho?
Therefore I ain't diamond

Awareness is common sense, it’s incredibly easy. Ludicrous ideas proposed for a Support to DPS chase reflect the incompetence and failed state of a players thought, skillset and ultimately themselves as a whole

Listen MeatMuncher, No one goes up to Sombra to initiate a 1v1 are you dense? She (Sneaks) up on you while distracted and takes full advantage of your lowered guard and hacked abilities. By the time you start to fight back or try and run your already getting sprayed.

Lmfaoo you're the Clown who proposed the idea. Yo go back and re-read. Bad enough you a bum but you can't read on top of that...truely Bozo award goes to you :steammocking:
according to this explanation u would also have problem with Sojourn, Soldier, Reaper and Genji. All they don't have is invis.

So it sounds like one of those;

u have a problem with invis characters in games in general.
u never encountered with other good players playing other "broken" heroes so u r only malding over Sombra.
u have bad positioning and/or reflexes
ur team doesn't know how to play against Sombra

if u can't act fast enough
If u are DPS, play Cassidy, Hanzo, Ashe, Reaper, Sojourn, Torb. but u should be fine with most
If u are Support play Kiriko, Illari and Ana. but u should be fine as long as u don't play Zen
If u are Tank don't play Wrecking Ball

She has to be close to kill you
If she is targeted by 2 people she is dead or tp'd out
if u have any mobility skill u can just dodge her and break her invis/kill her
U can literally interrupt her hack if u deal any damage

She ain't OP

It's obvious you play at a skill level that is terrible, if that's the case.

1. If you're positioned correctly, you either have your second support who will heal you, or your teammate who will turn around and chase the Sombra off. Obviously your positioning is not great.

2. If you continue to have a 'lowered guard' after knowing there's a Sombra, again it's on you and shows the poor level of play you're at.

3. At the low level of play you're at, no Sombra has god aim to be able to delete you in 2 seconds unless you have the reflexes of a potato and just stood there letting her unload onto you. If that Sombra did have god aim, she would be at a much better ELO, not slumming it with you down there.

You can keep protesting, but everything you say just continues to expose why you're at the terrible skill level you're at, because it's obvious you have a poor attitude and just aren't willing to improve.

They aren't dense, you just didn't read their arguments properly. Everything Valore has listed is what you should be doing when you know you're versing a Sombra. I'm a support main and I have no issues dealing with her because I stick by my team while being aware of my surroundings and positioning or I swap to a support more capable of defense like Brig if Mercy/Ana/Moira isn't working for me against her or if my other support is being targeted. She is not that hard to deal with, you just need to accept your mistakes and learn to counter Sombra just like any other hero.
