Server selection?

When I play with friends I have a 30 ping connection to the server, but solo queue I'm connected to a different server with 80 ping. Is there a way to see/select your server?

Not really no.

Here we have REGIONS not servers. You either connect to NA, EU/UK. SA. There are like 3 servers in United States, I bet you get connect to one of those but the game is unstable at times.

That's a downer. the 30 ping really feels great especially on my new system

Look up mina overwatch 2 server selector on github

^^^ this, Mina Overwatch, you have to play a few quick play matches first though to calibrate before going into ranked. Jumping into ranked matches straight away might give you "Failed to connect to server" which might give you disconnect penalties.
