Long searching time.

Does anyone has problems with finding a game? Me and my boyfriend are trying to queue for a competetive match for the third time today. Unfortunately all attempts were without success. We've been just sitting in the lobby for 25 minutes waiting and nothing. Does anyone has the same problem after the update?

Have you tried using All queue?

depends on your region, your rank, and the time.
peak time or not peak time?
region some are less populated than others.
and ranks if too low or too high mean longer Q time.

that's weird, maybe the other player have issue, try to Q alone and the other player alone at the same time without being in group and see what happen.
if you find game fast and the other player still in Q then it's something about that player, if the opposite then it's something about you.

long time no OW, but maybe one of you is avoided by too many players and can't find game because everyone have them on their avoid list, maybe wrong that's why i want you to Q solo and the other player solo and see what happen.

I don't think being avoided is the case since we came back to this game after a really long break (few months break) to check out what's new ://
Also we don't engage with other people durning match so i doubt being avoided is the reason.

I still use the avoid players tab even if they are friendly / don't say anything if their stats aren't good. So being silent doesn't really stop people from using that avoid button.

The matchmaking times have been broken sense the release of the season. Probably due to the new groupings they added.

This is why i mentioned few months break, that was as a funfact which is causing us less likely to be avoided

if you finally find a game after long Q time, is your latency/ping still the same as you remember? or higher?

Overwatch playerbase at the moment is low... I love the game but this is the real deal. The Golden Age has unfortunately passed!
