Is Venture a weak heroe?

I noticed that before, with the release of new heroes, it was really hard to get to pick them (you just had to be really quick to lock them) . With Venture I barely had the inconveniance and (to be honest) the desire to play.

Is Venture Weak? Boring? Needs buffs?

I can't really tell if its a guy or a girl. The gender neutrality is SO offensive its stopping me from playing right now...

If we're going by that logic then no one likes Rein, Reaper, Tracer, Brigitte, etc. just play Venture how they're meant to be played and there won't be a problem. The new DPS hero isn't everyone's cup of tea which is fine but there's certainly still hype around them, and others are waiting for the new Space Ranger support hero which is also fine.

She's ridiculously overpowered. I have no idea how people don't see that. She has everything. She may have short range, but her mobility more than makes up for it. Her damage is insane, she has splash on her projectiles, her abilities give her shields, her cooldowns are incredibly generous, she can literally just pop out underneath you, do a ♥♥♥♥ ton of damage, and get away, and if 3-4 people aren't on top of it, she's probably not gonna get punished. She's ridiculous.

She needs some kind of counterplay to her whens he's underground. There's nothing. You cannot affect her, she even shakes of DoTs. That's just dumb. It is the dumbest get-out-of-jail-free card Overwatch has ever had.

THIS, and don't forget that she can nullify any debuff with her burrow and become invulnerable for a lot of time plus her escape kit is absurd, not even reaper have that survivability with his shift AND her ult damage is beyond broken, anyone with 2 brain cells can kill both enemy heals and 1 dps like is nothing, but of course they had to give broken stats to a "inclusive" hero, honestly blizzard don't have idea what are they doing and no amount of representation is gonna fix the terrible decisions they have taken over how many years now to cover their dirt.

She feels pretty strong, but I suppose people don't play her because she doesn't look interesting visually. Couple that with all the gender political crap thats being shoved in our faces and its no surprise shes the most unpopular new hero ever to release.
