i think tanks need some type of cc immunity that builds up or something not even for balance reasons just as like a quality of life thing
That said.. Do take any beginner player or player with no awareness, and she's gonna hard carry the entire match, otherwise will only serve as a little distraction and loss for both teams.
She's way too tricky to be played for most players..

also spy weapons can change the playstyle (YER knife, Dead ringer, Diamondback, spy cicle, Kunai or Clock n Dagger)
meanwhile sombra depends of translocator and virus to defend herself but her arsenal is limited but she has some interesting stuff to provide by her hands
Hack ability to lock the health packs, Machine pistol for short / mid range fights, EMP is broken but reliable to use as a AOE attack.

The only reason spy is a problem is most of the mainstream tf2 playerbase are brain dead..
That and the kunai is the second most broken weapon to ever exist in tf2s history...

You have a lot of faith in blizzard considering every time they have tried to fix something they only make things worse or create new problems. At least in regards to ow2

I don't know game should be more straight forward, when enemy picks blinks, immunity etc, they stall way too much, helping their tanks way too much.
Reaper is kinda the same, you stall people behind thanks to immunity and high hp, you can also stay in front and stall with immunity as well. It's kinda weird to me idk.
Actually the Sombra rework is one of the few instances where they fixed something for good and elevated the play style of a Hero. Yes, she can still be quite annoying and disrupting as an enemy dps because that is basically her entire idea as a character. But after the rework she is much easier to counter due to the much needed changes to her translocator that no longer teleports her across the entire map.
The main issue with her now is not based on her kit that enabled her to engage in fights with no risk at all like it used to, but based on players who do not have the awareness to track her down after she teleports away to finish her off before she can slip away in stealth.
