Cant get mauga mit

With other tanks its obvious like Reinhardt shield but how can I score mit with Mauga who has no shielding abilities ?

His overhealth from critical should count as MIT if it's taking damage.

Mauga isn't designed to mitigate damage, he's designed to sponge it though a combination of his crit passive and his buff skill..

Not all tanks use direct means of dealing with damage
